  3. Psychologists preach.
  4. I can get rid of my problems within one session of therapy.
  5. To change is effortless.
  6. In the records or in transcripts a document is kept for those who applied for psychological counselling and this will disable us in job applications.

 What is true about Psychological Counselling?

  1. Psychological Counselling is for;

    • an individual who has the desire to get to know themselves.
    • someone who wants to have better relations with his friends and family.

    • the one who works on their own initiative.
    • the one who wants to cope with anxiety and stress.
    • the one who wants to express himself effectively

  2. People who apply for counselling are not weak, nonetheless, these are people who are aware of their own responsibilities for their life and who has taken the road in order to deal with the obstacles they have been facing.

  3. A psychologist is not the one who gives you advice how you could solve your own problems. But he is the one who helps you about the process you are in and the trustworthy decisions you have made to accomplish your targets.

  4. Change is not always that easy. Time and effort should be spent on it. Psychological counselling is not an overnight process, nor has the psychologist a magic stick.
