To begin undergraduate studies at Çankaya University, all Turkish applicants to the Faculties and Departments must take the entrence examination (ÖSS) administered by the National Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). Based on the results of this exam, ÖSYM places students according to their preferences.

Applicants to the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of Inner Architecture must successfully pass the ÖSS examination.

Admission is then granted on the basis of aptitude tests administered by the respective department and faculty. Applicants to vocational school programs are also placed by ÖSYM, based on their ÖSS scores. There is no application fee for the first-year undergraduate students since they are placed by ÖSYM.
