ADMISSION CONDITIONS TO MSc IN FINANCIAL ECONOMICS PROGRAM

CURRICULUM

The medium of instruction in Financial Economics Master’s Program is English. The program has both non-thesis and thesis tracks. Those who are in non-thesis track must take six compulsory and four elective courses and do a term project to able to graduate. In thesis track students are required to take six compulsory and one elective course and do a seminar and prepare a thesis.

In addition to above courses, there are three non-credit preparatory courses specifically designed for the master’s program and they are taught  during the evening hours like the regular courses. These courses are intended for those students who lack enough knowlege about economics, business, statistics or econometrics prior to begining the program. Students who need to take some or all of these preparatory  courses are determined during the interview conducted before admitting the program.
