Pursuant to Article 7 Paragraph d/2 of
the Higher Education Act, number 2547, a Center has been
founded by the name of "Çankaya University Center for
Research and Application in Atatürk's Principles and The
Revolutionary History" under the Rectorate of Çankaya
University. |

The aim of the Center is to train the
Turkish Youth as individuals who have gained full insight
into the national, moral and cultural values as well as into
the duties and responsibilites they owe toward their state,
and who have an unshaken conviction that the Turkish Nation,
with its country and people, is a well-united entity that
can by no means become disintegrated. Taking due pride in
this very fact, the Turkish Youth will have full awareness
of and sincere committment to Atatürk's Principles and
Revolutions, and driven by this conviction, they will
endeavor to serve their Nation and State in the best way
possible. The Center has been designed to do research on the
History of Turkish Revolution, Atatürk's Principles, their
implications and goals as well as on the way Turkish Nation
has contributed to the betterment of human lot over the
course of history. To this end, the Center aims to
accomplish the following objectives:
a. To conduct research and pursue the developments in
the field of Atatürk's Principles and the History of Turkish
Revolution.
b. To form an archive about Atatürk and the Turkish
Revolution.
c. To organize conferences, seminars, panels and
scientific meetings in line with the objectives stated
above,
d. To make publications such as books and articles.
e. To achieve scientific cooperation with various
organizations on the issues related to this field of study.
f. To carry out coordinating activities to teach and
supervise the courses of Atatürk's Principles and the
History of Turkish Revolution at our university.
g. To make annual coordination plans. |
